I think i figured it out, the web is just a fundumental concept of the universe, its the way things interact with each other and infinitely relate to each other. a jewel could be a person, object, partical, what ever, and the reflections are just the way you can see and understand the infinite interactions
like if a snowflake falls, that flake is a jewel, a point of connection in the web, and the reflections are and infinite list of ways its been linked to everything around it, the wind that moved it, the water that evaporated to form the cloud, the meteor that gave us that water, the light that hits it
so nothing directly impacts it or changes the web because is self sufficient and boundless. the infinite interactions are the cause and effect, and since everything is reflect on everything else its kinda both constantly changing and staying the same.
