Sometimes I enjoy watching TV news (CNN-FOX/Telesur-RT) when they talk about my country, Venezuela. And i enjoy it because they say things that have nothing to do with our current situation. For example, the great fear of right news: Communism. Steemiters, dont fall for this one, communism does not exist in Venezuela (nor Socialism), in fact, Venezuela is the best example of the most savage capitalism i have ever seen, that's right, in Venezuela MONEY RULES. Another example is the fear of left news: Imperialism. Now venezuelans might be scared (or excited) of international intervention, but the Venezuelan state does not, the government and big enterprises) are partners with the USA (which is, with no doubt, the most powerfull state at least in America), it does not matter if they think they are fighting against the Imperialism or not. Militar forces and big businessmen are the same (there is no left, there is no right), the only difference is that one of them uses boots and the other loafers. This situation will not carry on much longer.
There is no law in Venezuela. You might have heard that Venezuela has one of the most modern Constitution in the world (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Constitution_of_Venezuela) with a tool like the "recall referendum". The thing is, we Venezuelans do not like rules, we just dont, we dont care if the traffic light is red or green (anyone who has been here can agree), we do not care if the law says we cant park anywhere, or that we cant drive without a license, or that we cant drink alcohol on the streets. Nothing really matters here, if the cops (by some random chance) cought you doing one of the things above (or all), dont worry, he will just ask for a "contribution" to his cause and forget about it. There is no law, and we are just in love with the lack of rules. Hopefully, it wont be too late before we understand that we must play by the rules. Dont feel sad for us, dont believe the papers, we are not victims, we are just desperate to make things different and prove that the world is wrong and boring, and some people will give their lives for that matter. Aren't we some funny folks? We just make rules so you guys (rest of the world) will leave us alone, and then we spend our entire lifetime PRETENDING that we follow them, but we dont, and I do not think we've ever done it. You would not believe how much this principles of pretending expands and infects all institutions (education, politics, business). There is so much about this issue I would love to discuss, dont be shy and comment! See you next time Steemiters! And remember, crisis doest not mean there is less money, it just means its distributed badly.
