This is a very basic question and I can already guess what answer most people would give here. However it's all down to preference and functionality.
Taking photos in RAW has all its advantages including the fact that it holds more information on the photo which makes editing more effective. Despite this awesome advantage, I still shoot mostly in JPEG. Why? Because the files are smaller which allows me take more shots before running out of space. It let's me focus on trying to get the shot right in camera and not rely on editing. Also, sorting out RAW photos especially since I shoot Nikon can be a pain, as the photos do not display thumbnails on the file explorer, I basically have to open them up in a third part app such as Lightroom or Photoshop.
Well, those are the reasons for my choice. However, I'm not one to shy away from versatility as I switch from time to time.
