Hello everyone!
Today's photos are of my friends. I took it while we were at school without any prior planning (actually while we were waiting for a class 馃槄).
I'll also be making this my entry to today's #monomad challenge. I came second place in the last one (Peeky Blinders) and I'm very grateful for that 馃榿. Let's see how this one goes, shall we?
What caught my eye in this photo was the fact that three of my friends (as they sat beside each other) expressed different emotions which sort of varied from each other slightly. So it looked like it went from a straight face to a smile and then to a laugh (from left to right). It wasn't done on purpose as they were talking to some other guys that stood in front of them.
I took this photo using a Nikon 50mm f/1.8 manual lens which made it kind of difficult as I had to take time to focus on the subject properly whilst maintaining my position. The thought of this makes me feel even luckier for catching this shot.
The photo looked good in colour, but I thought it would look even better in black and white. It has its way of eliminating distractions and making the emotions seem more pronounced.
Here are the settings used in taking this photo. It was a really hot and sunny day, but I didn't let that stop me.
The photo was edited on my smartphone with the good ol' Snapseed app. I did basic tuning, improved contrast and sharpness as well as tweaked the curves.
I hope you like the photo and you were able to connect with it like I did!
