With every sunset comes the promise of a new dawn
As the day ended over here and I watched the sun set, this old photo of mine which I took a couple of years back on my smartphone came to mind. I dug through my archives and luckily I was able to find it. I'm glad to be able to share it here.
It's quite a memorable day, as this was the first time I shot with my friend Ada within a week of knowing ourselves. The guy in the frame is my friend as well, he apparently initiated the idea of us having a shoot that evening.
Also... No, they aren't actually lovebirds. Haha, sorry to dissapoint y'all. Apparently they found it a bit uncomfortable staring at each other at first and occasionally laughed while trying to do this pose. Eventually I was able to steal a shot I'll consider good enough.
We shot this at a field around our school campus, we did not go there with any plans whatsoever of taking photos with the sunset, it simply came to mind.
Sometimes some of our favourite photos are shot unplanned, at least that seems to be the case for me. Amongst all the photos we took, this was definitely my favourite.
