A Perfect Destination for High Altitude Hangout-Zero Point, Lachung, North Sikkim, India 🇮🇳 (My Sikkim Diary #07)

Today I am going to share with you my another amazing journey in the magnificent road to heaven and the wonder of Sikkim. Yes, the mighty Zero point or Yumesamdong.
Zero point, Yumthang valley
You know it feels good to be lost in the right direction of life. In my words, what can be better than being lost in Sikkim, the land of vibrant nature and splendid mysticism.
My starting point:
I started my journey from Lachen city to Lachung valley, it's another beautiful place I crossed by. It's only 15 km car drive from Lachung valley to Zero point 👉. I woke up early and my cottage owner served me a takeaway breakfast 😋. Because I made a plan to visit Zero point a day before. He managed to get me a car with two native couples to visit there. We took Lachen road. It took me 1 hour 45 minutes to arrive in Lachung valley.
I found this long waterfall on the way to Lachung. I hired a car but there was a beautiful road for bikers. This falls is called Bachon falls according to drive 🙄.
Lachung valley:
Lachung is situated at an altitude of 8,858 feet, known as small pass. It's embraced by snow capped mountains peaks, breathtaking waterfalls, sparkling streams and apples, peaches and apricot orchids.
We rested here and had some food.
Apples 🍎 orchards near the road. They looked so mouthwatering and organic. Only 50 rupees per kilogram.

My final destination the mighty Zero point:
Do you know why it is called Zero point ? Let me tell you, Zero point got its name because you have to cross a very rough and dangerous road to get there. Also this point is close to Chinese border with India 🇮🇳. And therefore tourists are not allowed to go beyond. Heavily guarded area. It is special beautiful of beautiful sights of convergence of three wonderful rivers and all the snow covered mountains ⛰. It is nothing but shots of heaven. The roads end right here and you can't find any civilization further. The oxygen level is pretty low due to high ground.
The end of the journey in Zero point is worth everything. I enjoyed it very much. I stayed there 6/ 7 hours . After that I went back to Lachung village for a night stay. I brought my food from Lachung . There was no shop nearby.
