Kuakata is situated in the south eastern part of Bangladesh. It is located in Kalapara Upazila of Patuakhali District of Bangladesh and about 320 KM (200 mi) south from Dhaka city. It is popular to the tourist because of its panoramic white sandy sea beach. Kuakata is famous as the second tourist destination in Beautiful Bangladesh. The length of the white sandy beach is 18 kilometres long and also 3 kilometres wide.
