Every start is a good start, but one of the things we must improve on ourselves is to make things better every day.
That happens with programming.
As we learn the basics and later on start building small and personal projects, our programs most of the time have too much code on it and we don't make it shorter or simpler because we don't know how.
As we keep learning and after-hours watching YouTube videos and online courses (for those who pay them lol), we start thinking better or getting advice from other programmers to improve the app we just built. Since I'm learning how to run my own apps, it feels like to be in a Minecraft world (?), somewhere you can just create things without rules and all of them of your property.
Stack overflow
Stack overflow is one of the preferred websites for the audience and for me as well, I often try to search every piece of code I test because most of the time there is plenty experienced people that answer those question for us.
You still can try to watch YouTube videos or be on a Discord server but always the best answer you can find is at this website.
JavaScript from the beginning
You can start from whatever you want, but the best starts is from JavaScript, this programming language isn't the easiest (python takes the trofy) but will let you build amazing things very quickly and withouth downloading anything extra.
With this I meant to start from scratch with JS? NO
We need the basics to understand everything, and by that, I mean HTML and CSS the bone and dress of our website, don't have to know everything but yes you must know the basics and element positioning. After that, it will give you more freedom to create your applications and be sure what exactly to search for when looking for CSS codes.
Do you need Mathematics?
Nain, but depends on the complexity of the projects you would want to create, the most important thing is to be methodic and algorithmical problem solver, these skills are hard to polish, even I have problems with it, but it will help you a lot to find the answer to the problems you want to solve, because that will be doing the most of your time.
Programmers find a problem and search for a quick and usable solution to it.
But you must bear in mind that it isn't an easy journey, you need discipline, enthusiasm, and don't throw the towel because there will be many times that you will think about it, but in the end if you see this as a hobby like me, something that will give you value in the future (same that's happening with crypto and blockchain) believe me that nothing will stop you to keep going.
The perfect time to start learning is now, life and technology keeps going and we can't stay behind.
