People know what it is but they don't want anybody to mention it. This word or "procedure" makes everyone shiver.

In humans everything is more complicated, and even more so because we are talking about a human life. Since we were kids, we have been told that every human life is important, it has an unreachable value, something that can't be bought... is it?
But what makes a life valuable?
Of course, for you, your life is important, I can't argue with you about that. But for me, why is your life important? What value is your life giving to me, and what would I care about if you were alive or not? If we think deep about those questions, we can asume there are life's that are more valuable than others.
The mission of a medic is to save all life's no matter what, because every life is important, but What makes a life important?
Everyone has their personal opinions about it but in my opinion depends on how related to your life is that person. For you, having your mom alive is better than having your neighbor alive, you still like your neighbor, but you prefer your mom. But that perspective is only for you, because if I ask the same thing to your neighbor, he won't prefer you instead of his/her mom.
Exactly the same thing happens with Doctors, they don't have anything related with his patients, but they have to do everything to keep them alive no matter wants, because they are his patients, and that makes them important for him
The Decision
Anyone is prepared to take this step, but it is necessary. I fully believe that this decision has to be taken by the patient and not by their family (being in a coma is an exception).
Dying is something common, but people aren't used to it (of course) everyone is afraid of it. Once we are alive we can do everything we can imagine, we are able to do many things and enjoy life, but what if those activities or that liberty is restricted? could be a terminal disease, total parálisis, lose both arms and legs, etc.
In my opinion that isn't life, and not worth to live it
So, people that are suffering, or their way of living turns around 180 degrees, I respect the decision of having a euthanasia and shame on people or laws that don't let them have it.
