Dear friends of HIVE happy day to all and a big hug to my fellow ALIEN, I wish you a wonderful day and I hope you are in good health, is the important thing.

Today I leave you a step by step, how to make this digital piece called Threads of Light, I hope you like it.

def.jpgThis is the final result, after a process of applying layers and filters.

fond2.jpgBefore starting any work, in my personal case, I create a background layer, I apply various filters to it to serve as a base for the rest of the layers, this layer is usually taken from a small piece of an image and pixelated in various ways.

fondesp1.jpgFrom the main layer, another sample is extracted and the reel filter is applied first, then wave and finally shrink, these are modification filters.

capahueca.jpgDuplicate the previous layer, then mark a space with the lasso tool and cut it in less than half, this to give us a sense of depth.

fragmentos.jpgFrom the main layer, several fragments are extracted and dispersed in various places of the layer, to which bevel and relief and parallel shadow are applied independently.

capacorte.jpgThe creation of a frame is important because it allows to create more depth and colorfulness to the work, for this various colors and textures are used, as well as shadows and bevels to differentiate each layer.

This is a general summary of everything that is done to create a digital image, in this case no photographic images were used, only fragments of color which are modified with the filters and tools of the program.

To edit the images I use PHOTOSHOP PORTABLE, GIMP and PAINT NET, the photographic images are taken with my Smoot cell phone. Note 6.8
