To continue the story of my ultimate love magic spell, may I present Geidromu, my green magic doll. Green is traditionally associated with the planet Venus, and her metal of copper. One of the common forms of copper ore is green. And so green symbolises love.
Geidromu was the second of series of nine colour magic dolls I created. She has been with me as a love magic servitor for around 17 years now, learning from our successes and our failures. I'll write a series of posts about these dolls later. I made her shortly after my second most successful love magic spell, the one that put me in a four year relationship with chaos magician and author Jaq D Hawkins. It was during that time I did the artwork for her book Chaos Monkey, amongst other collaborations.

What was this second most successful love spell? It was simply that I wanted a lover that practised chaos magic. Since Jaq not only practised chaos magic, but also wrote about it, this was certainly a result. But after just over four years of mostly fun times, we grew apart. I experienced a personal psychological crisis and in attempt to heal myself I made decisions that eventually lead to our relationship ending. As close as friends as we were, and as much as we had in common, it seems this relationship couldn't survive that crisis.
After this relationship my love magic got worse for a time. I asked for things, and I got them, but nothing lasted, and each time my heart broke a little more. Even fleeting encounters would leave me feeling more lonely than before.
It was around four years after my relationship with Jaq ended, when I finally realised what the ultimate spell love spell would be. But I'll leave that story for the next instalment.
