I get it, we are an ungrateful mob, have been since early on.
It partially comes from still being in beta 10 years later and having game changing changes shoved down our throats undiscussed and unannounced.

Until some non-negligible power is distributed among more people there is no reason to expect things to change.

IF satoshi had held all the btc to himself, or a small group of somebodies, it would have no value today.
Instead, he let distribution occur, those that still control hive are not interested in broader adoption, apparently.
They clearly weren't during the steem days, they actively flagged people off the platform, and open stated that their desire was to maintain their percentage of the whole by not allowing the inflation to dilute them.

Btc has value because enough people own it to give it useful value.

Our value has been distorted by a floor under the price.
Absent that floor, distribution would have occurred and these problems would be further down the trail to resolution.
Instead we have people with game breaking amounts, just as intended by the steem ninjamine.

Control freaks gotta control.™

I know being a whale can be unpleasant, ungrateful mob and all, but the way to change that is to attract enough new whales to change the whale culture.
It can be done, and the price is cooperating.

Probably more, but they do show some restraint because they know if they sucked it all up absolutely nobody would play the game.
Zero distribution is not in their interests.

It's a control freak matrix that was built, it's been admitted publicly that maximum control was the goal of the ninjamine, until that control is surrendered, or wrested from 'their' control, more of the same is what we can expect.

Most chains if you are a whale people adore you.

We had that, but greed and control issues drove it out of us.
Folks used to fawn on the whales hoping for votes, but once the math started becoming clear that whale votes starve the least among us, that was pushed out of the crowd.
There are still some newbs, but largely the crowd knows what's up.

I want this to be a utopia as much as the next person but I also need to be realistic in what we are trying to achieve.

You are doing just what we need, reaching out to the crowd.
Building consensus is the way to group cohesion.
Hive would have been the dominating force in crypto, with the proper leadership.

It's from placating the restivus that any redemption will come.
Crowd sourced wisdom, and all.

It's naive to think that the cabal that currently rules the world is not here.
It's also pretty naive to think that hive would be allowed to upset the bankster's apple cart.
And, as 'they' control most of the money in the world, 'they' also probably call the shots here, too.
That cabal didn't get into power by overlooking threats to their persistence.

Steem was the #3 crypto in the world, we certainly had their attention until we started getting kneecapped.
I don't see that changing, either, until power passes from those that currently control it.
