The modern world is filled with irony and hypocrisy. While racism and sexism and whatever else are still very common, we have people saying things like "all men are scum", or "all men do X", or "All white people are racist," etc, and not believing that saying those things is also bad.
Like how does no one recognize that? Generalizing a race is a form of racism or at least discrimination. Technically, racism is the belief that your race or a race is superior to others, but saying "All white people are racist" is no different than saying "All black people are gangbangers." Neither statement is remotely true.
