The All-Seeing Eye of Google: Strange Coincidence or Invasive Tracking? + Google Search Cringe Ads

Was searching for a tablet w pen since my daughter expressed interest in my pixel art app and strangely soon after Roku played a Google shopping ad that displayed a search for a tablet w a pen.

How Peculiar

Got me wondering if it was somehow personalized and got me looking at it from a more humorous angle. For example, I was curious what would happen to the neckbeard who recently searched for their anime waifu body pillow or anybody that happened to be searching for something embarrassing like that.

Just imagine he was upstairs from the basement watching tv with his parents and THAT commercial came on! LMAO!

No, but I'm a serious note, was this just a coincidence or, since my Roku is tied to my Google, did it know what I was searching for on separate retailer apps? If the latter, that's kinda creepy and would be hella interested in disabling that "feature".
