The Indonesian Society of Radiographers (ISR) or better known in Indonesia by PARI some time ago had held a fundraising activity for Radiographers throughout Indonesia to help provide personal protective equipment especially hazmat suits for radiographers who work with covid-19 patients throughout Indonesia.
Because at present many hospitals are very lacking of personal protective equipment while working so this is very risky for the health workers there. So the aid of hazmat suits from radiographers' organizations is very meaningful for radiographers who work serving covid-19 patients.
Hazmat suits have been distributed this week throughout Indonesia by the Indonesian Society of Radiographers or PARI. The distribution of aid was initiated by the respective regional boards. Because the mechanism for the distribution of aid was coordinated by the central board and sent to the regional boards. By the regional boards, this assistance was forwarded to the hospitals that needed the hazmat suits.
The hazmat suits given is made of 75% spundbond which is anti-virus. This hazmat suits is for single use and is not recommended to be used repeatedly. Each hospital gets a minimum of 10 Hazmat suit packages depending on the number of Covid-19 patients treated at the hospital.
