OffChain Luxembourg wellcomes everyone to exprore a unique real life experiment of a decentralized human organization, but what is that?.
Imagine a typical organization with a board of directors, a president, a vice president, department heads, supervisors, and employees, where members simply follow the plans set for them, but at Offchain Luxembourg, OCL intends to innovate by creating an association based on blockchain ethos by introducing the decentralized human organization concept in which OCL plans to have autonomous and decentralized decision making and non-coerced collaboration nodes formed by Offchain Luxembourg members.
These nodes will share core values such as collaboration, communication, coordination, transparency, fairness, and innovation, all working towards a common mission and vision for the prosperity and well-being of all.
OffChain Luxembourg (OCL) is a chapter of OffChain Global, an unincorporated association. It is a global community for Web3 professionals and enthusiasts, focused on meetups.
OCL believes that a decentralized human organization (DHO) driven by blockchain principles can be integrated into a legal framework. This is why OCL is registered as a non-profit association under Luxembourg law and shares its status and transactions on the HIVE blockchain.
Some of OCL's core members have been involved since 2016, providing a solid foundation for OffChain Luxembourg's development.
OCL vision is to foster a decentralized ecosystem where innovation thrives, collaboration is seamless, and knowledge is freely shared. OCL aims to bridge the gap between cutting-edge blockchain technology and real-world applications, creating a sustainable and inclusive environment for enthusiasts, professionals, and innovators. By leveraging the principles of decentralization, transparency, and community-driven growth, OffChain Luxembourg is committed to shaping the future of digital economies and empowering individuals to contribute to a more connected and prosperous world.
OCL aims to achieve their vision through these four main points:
MiCA, or the Markets in Crypto-Assets Regulation, is a set of rules created by the European Union to regulate cryptocurrencies and other digital assets. Its main goals are to protect investors, prevent fraud, and make sure that the cryptocurrency market operates smoothly and fairly.
OffChain Luxembourg aims to introduce the first MICA compliant token called “OffChain Luxembourg” Token (OCLT), created as a token of appreciation for members who choose to collaborate.
