I know it says invasion ...but if you read the background portion of that link ... it gives a little more info on why they invaded .... and how it started ... yes the land may have been Greek ... and during the ottoman ruling they took over many nations .... wrongfully ... but having lived there from the time of ottoman rule until the 60s and 70s .... at one point they did live peacefully and in harmony ... but if you read the background portion you’ll see what started that war ... so many years after they settled there ... I don’t agree with war for any reason .... and I don’t think forcing anyone out of their home is right .... if you read the background portion ... it give a clearer idea of why they invaded .... not saying it’s right .... but it isn’t that they just decided to invade and take land from the Greeks .

Turkey has so many people that have moved out of Turkey . There are approx 350,000 people in America that are of Turkish decent in the US ....30,000-40,000 in Italy ... etc .

And I’m going to leave this conversation at that ... Hope i didn’t offend you ... I had to look up most of this info as honestly I don’t know much about it besides little tid bits I hear ..... but it was an interesting conversation :)
