I happened to drive past an abandoned cafeteria along the road. It must have been closed for a couple of decades. Once this was somebody's business and livelihood. Now the building is just deteriorating on the roadside. This one must have fallen victim to most of the traffic being rerouted to a motorway that was built about 30 years ago.

I have to wonder what the story of these pieces of furniture left on what must have been a lawn in the past is. Why are the there? Why weren't they disposed of with the rest of the items inside?

Let's go in.

Was the door of the microwave oven ripped off by vandals? The front window was broken but I suspect that must have happened a long time after the place was abandoned. I hope whoever took the door is happy with it.

There was no counter here.

When time stops, this is what it can look like.

Why is there a sauna here?

DSC_0487.jpg

Even the stove is there.

It didn't cross my mind try if water would come from the tap. I doubt it.

DSC_0494.jpg

This must have been the office.

DSC_0497.jpg

Was someone planning to renovate this place or why are the paint cans here?

This image was so much better in color that I decided to leave it that way.
