I'm not FUDing anything or anyone, and I don't believe the post title is sensationalist. I actually believe we have funny times ahead...

Wars brings opportunities
But they also bring uncertainty and an overall bear market prelude. This is called the war puzzle and it is simple yet nobody has cracked it:
The 20th century wars that happened after WWII created a sense of uncertainty right before the conflict actually broke out. The more the conflict was likely to happen, the more the stock market bled, but once the conflict actually started, the stock market would rise from the ashes and we enter a bull season.
But recent history says otherwise. Over the past couple of decades, conflicts in the Middle East and Iran, where the United States was involved directly, didn't affect the stock market in general, and the small attempts at disrupting the global markets were easily shaken off.
The period from 1926 to 2013 shows that the stock market behaved rather stable during periods of war despite what the common logic would say - I mean, I would've thought that war times meant huge markets volatility.
The thing is, this could be a global conflict where many NATO allies, Russia, the USA and maybe even China get involved, and I'm pretty sure the impact to the stock market and in turn, cryptocurrencies will be different than a regional - like the middle east - conflict managed to make.
Oh sorry, you have no idea what I am talking about, right?
There's a massive exodus happening right now in Ukraine
UK nationals were told to leave the country ASAP. Israeli consulate family members were ordered to leave Ukraine. US citizens are told to leave Ukraine in the next 24-48 hours.
Basically, shit is going to hit the fan very soon in Ukraine and the crisis that has been boiling since 2014 - does Crimea ring a bell? - is ready to explode.
Wait, do you want a TLDR - too long, didn't read - about the Ukraine vs Russia conflict?
So basically - and any historian or expert can correct me if I am wrong or reading the wrong outlets - the USA/UK staged a color revolution in Ukraine to destabilize western Russia, then the Ukrainian government joined a defensive military pact with the US, the, then the US placed it's own troops and missiles in Ukraine as part of this purely defensive pact.
Obviously Russia is reacting, and the world is counter-reacting. This is the Russian version, of course there is USA version, if anyone is willing to share another point of view of the conflict, you are more than welcome to do so in the comment section.
This is pretty similar to what happened in Cuba back then when the Soviet Union placed missiles right in the US' backyard. The US didn't invade Cuba, but the situation is pretty similar as the one happening right now in Ukraine with roles reversed. If you are curious, duckduckgo Cuban missile crisis and you'll have enough reading for a few weekends.
Leaving Ukraine is now a priority for anyone who has the means and the will.
Conspiracy theories at hand for everyone
Notice how only a few days ago Bitcoin played a huge role in the Russian and USA economic decisions and some people are saying that the gas line that will provide cheap gas to Europe while enriching everyone involved could be also playing a part in the USA's involvement in this conflict.
Some theories say that Ukraine will be invaded by Russia, which will result in sanctions from the EU countries + USA. Russia will then start cyberattacks on the financial market BUT, The funny thing is that this is all staged and every country (including Russia) is part of the Great Reset plan.
Oh yeah, you haven't heard of the Great Reset conspiracy theory? Well, it's not much of a conspiracy theory since it's been stated by many governments that they have actually in store a worldwide economic reset. I don't want to get too much into it because it's not the topic at hand, but if you are curious just duck-duck-go Great Reset 2030.
Nobody wants a war with Ukraine, but Putin's just using this opportunity to put the American interests against European interests and fracture both Nato and the EU from within. Germany and France don't want war and they rule the EU. Putin is capitalizing on the extreme ineptitude of western leaders and at the same time is getting revenge for the 2000's when Bill Clinton laughed in his face after he suggested Russian should be a member of Nato and after Russia helped them with information on terrorists the CIA shipped weapons and drugs to Dagestan and Chechnya as a thank you.
They are playing 4D Chess and as long as we don't know the truth behind all the pawn moves, we can just deem all this info as conspiracy theories.
What this means for Crypto and Hive
I have no idea, I am not an expert on this topic, I just wanted to bring it to the @leofinance table and see what you guys think.
