Hello Hive Community!
My name is Happiness Yerima, also known as Anniebest, I'm 25 years old and I live in Abuja, Nigeria. I'm originally from Nasarawa State. I've spent most of my life with my very loving parents. However, as I got older, life became a bit challenging.

I began by working as a class assistant in a school, hoping to save enough money to go to college. Unfortunately, what I earned wasn't quite enough. Later on, I got a job offer to work as a house help. The salary was fair, and it helped me meet my needs while still saving towards my education, so I took the opportunity.
Music has always been a part of my life, it runs in my family, from my grandparents down to my parents. But unlike my older siblings, I didn’t begin my music journey early. I started at the age of 8 in a local church group called the Sisters Fellowship. During that time, I only had access to the drums, which was the main instrument used there. So, I learned and played the drums for the group.

My favorite instrument, though, has always been the violin, but I’ve never had the opportunity to learn it. Still, I'm grateful to God because, in the midst of everything, I was able to learn something I’m deeply passionate about: the acoustic guitar. Since I couldn’t learn the violin, I chose the acoustic guitar because of my love for stringed instruments.
As I grew up, I found myself drawn to other things too. I’ve always loved variety. One of those passions is baking. I was greatly inspired by Buddy Valastro, The Cake Boss, around 2018/2019. Watching him design amazing cakes motivated me to join a 10-day basic baking class at MD Abubakar Barracks in Abuja. I created some beautiful things during that class, and my tutor was really impressed. I know it was God helping me through the passion and determination I had to give my best.

I also learned how to make peanuts, and my family and friends were always amazed by how good they tasted. They encouraged me to start a business with it, which I did for a while, although it didn’t go so well in the long run.

Unlike my siblings, I didn’t get to enjoy a lot of outdoor hangouts because I was always the shy type. Instead, I kept myself busy with my favorite TV channels like Nat Geo Wild, because of my love for nature and wildlife, where I continued watching Cake Boss on DSTV.
I’m an introverted person; I enjoy listening to music, singing, reading inspirational books, and participating in health programs that help me improve my clinical skills as a Community Health Extension Worker.

I discovered Hive through @akwash360 and
@oluthomas. They’ve been telling me about this amazing community and the opportunities it offers. I’m so happy to finally be part of it. I believe this platform will help me grow, especially as I continue to develop my music career. And I would like to use this medium to say a big 'thank you' to them.
I hope to inspire others through the songs I’ll be sharing here on Hive.
Thank you so much for reading my introduction. I look forward to doing amazingly well here.
Much love to you all❣🥰🤗
