Pepe and I hike to Mount Lamlam! I previously completed the hike to Mount Jumullong Manglo with some friends thinking it was Mount Lamlam. I was suprised how quick it was at the time and when I heard that it wasn't actually Mount Lamlam, I had to go back and do it right! Pepe was the master navigator and led the way to the summit!
Stations of the Cross is carried out up to Mount Jumullong Manglo every year for Easter and is a great representation of Guam's strong Catholic presence.
Mount Lamlam, which means "lightning" in Chamoru, is the tallest mountain in the world if you count where it starts... at the bottom of the Mariana Trench.
