We spend a lot of time chasing happiness, but never stop to give it any meaning.
Most of us chase happiness like it's our ticket out, a ticket that will take us to the place, where all our dreams worked out. A place where better versions of ourselves have everything they want, and nothing to do but enjoy all of it.
Happiness is when you exchange your time and attention for the offering of fruits from all the seeds you sowed and prepared for harvest. It's what you get when given a thing or two, it's fulfilment and achievement, respect and honour.
Happiness is learning from your mistakes, apologizing and forgiving others. It's leaving a place better than how you first found it and finding a solution or answer to one of your problems.
Happiness is jumping on the water which is gathered after the rain on the corner of the road without caring about the world.
Happiness is like lying under the clear night sky and smoking while listening to your favourite song as if tomorrow does not exist.
Happiness is not a birthright, only the pursuit of it. It's you who must give it form and find it in the world-a reward you must work for. Happiness comes in waves and it's up to you how you want to make these waves.
