A long time ago I heard a real-life horror story about Kisaragi station in Japan. I thought why not share this one. So here I go.
Around the year 2004 in Japan, there was an online portal named 2chan, where people created different pages and communicated with each other. Just like that, there was a page named Post Strange Occurrence Around You and On January 8, 2004, a user named Hasumi started writing a real-time post on the page asking for help. She was telling them everything that was happening to her and the rest of the users were trying to help her. Hasumi's first message appeared on the portal saying, "Maybe this is my imagination but, I want to say something." Then she said, she got on a train from a station called Harajuku around 11 pm and the train had not stopped at any station for the last 20 minutes. Usually, when Hasumi was returning home from work the train would not have been a tunnel but today the train is going through a tunnel. A user of 2Chan told Hasumi that she should go to the front coach of the train and knock on the door of the driver's compartment and ask. Hasumi replied that she had gone and had also knocked but no one gave any answer. The window was covered with black glass so she couldn't see anything inside that compartment. After a while, Hasumi said that the speed of the train was decreasing after coming out of the tunnel And finally the train came to a halt at Kisaragi station.
2Chan users had different opinions, some of them were telling Hasumi to stay on the train and the rest were advising her to get off the train. Hasumi said that since she had never heard of Kisaragi station, it was not right for her to get off at the station. Another user of the 2chan advised her that she should wait until she got to the last station without getting off the train. Hasumi then decides for herself that she will get off the train, look for the stationmaster and ask where she is. Then Hasumi got off the train at the station and quickly realized that there was no one at the station, the station was empty and the train she had taken had left.
The conversation lasted 1 hour on that page and 1 user from 2Chan told Hasumi that she tried to find out about Kisaragi station on the internet but there is no information about this station anywhere. When a user of 2chan asked Hasumi if she could see any construction around the station, Hasumi said she would look out of the station. After a while, Hasumi said there is no building outside the station and there is no taxi. 2Chan users suggested she should look for a police station near her and call the police for help, and another one suggested that she should call a taxi company from a nearby phone booth and get a taxi. Meanwhile, Hasumi said that she had called her parents and her father said that he would come to find her through Hasumi's location on a map and pick her up. But Hasumi said she is starting to get scared now. A user asked Hasumi if any other passengers got off the train with her at the station, to which Hasumi replied that she got off alone and the rest of the passengers left with the train. Another user told Hasumi that in Japanese kanji means the devil is also called Kisaragi Demon which is the name of the station. Hearing this, Hasumi and the rest of the users panicked.
A user suggested to Hasumi that she should start walking along the tracks of her train so that she can go back to where she came from. Hasumi accepted his suggestion and started walking along the track. Then one user said that "if it is a kind of joke then it is not funny at all and it is scary". In response, Hasumi said that she is stuck in this trouble and she is scared. After walking for a while, Hasumi said that she still can't see any buildings in the vicinity, only grass and grass can be seen in the distance and some hills. Hasumi says her father's call came and her father says he can't find her location either, so Hasumi called the police and asked for help. After telling the police everything, they thought Hasumi might be joking with them and they got angry at Hasumi. She became very disappointed. Hasumi tells users of 2Chan that she can hear the sound of drums and bells somewhere in the distance and she doesn't know what to do now. Most of the users of 2Chan were suggesting she should go back to the station and wait for the morning there. But Hasumi told them, A little while ago, someone called her from behind and told her not to walk on the track. She turned around and discovered a strange-looking man with only one leg and that man just suddenly disappeared. At that point, Hasumi was so scared that she couldn't even move. The users of 2chan told her not to look back and run from where the sound of drums and bells was coming from because there might be people here. After a while, Hasumi said she ran but then fell on the track and hurt her leg with a stone and her leg is bleeding. And she called her parents and they said they were talking to the police but Hasumi was getting scared because the sound of drums and bells was coming towards her. She then said that she had somehow reached the tunnel and that she would go inside the tunnel in the hope that the sound of drums and bells she heard would not belong to any train. Shortly after saying this, Hasumi again said that she had been able to get out of the tunnel safely. And finally, she sees a guy in front of her and she's happy because she can ask the guy for help. Hasumi was a bit nervous, she didn't want to scare the man with her appearance because there was a lot of dust on her body due to the fall. One user told Hasumi not to approach the man because why would anyone be standing outside the tunnel so late at night. But after a while, Hasumi replied that the man was very kind and the man also gave her a lift. Hasumi is now in his car with the man. One user asked Hasumi to ask the man's name and location. Hasumi replied after some time that she had asked but the man did not say anything except the word Hina. In fact, the man did not even say his name. Hasumi also said that maybe the man doesn't understand my language and is strangely rumbling on something. Hasumi was scared now because the man was driving in the opposite direction, and once again Hasumi could see the grass and the hills. Seeing this message, most of the people were telling Hasumi to get out of the car whenever she got a chance. Hasumi said that the battery of her phone will run out very soon. Hasumi did not reply after that. It was not clear what happened to Hasumi, who the man was, what the Kisaragi station was like, whether Hasumi was safe or not. The strangest thing was that the 2Chan users did not even know the user named Hasumi who was constantly talking to them, whether it was real or fake. They were so excited that no one asked for the user's family details. And Hasumi's story remained a mystery.
People have given 2 theories on this incident.
First, there was never a girl named Hasumi. It was a frank made by a young boy or a young girl. And after a while due to a serious reaction, he/she deleted the account after which it was no longer possible to find him/her.
According to the second theory,
A girl named Hasumi was the victim of a curse and boarded the train at the station which was going to Kisaragi station which means devil's demonstration. Hasumi could not see any people there because there were no people around and that one-legged man was some kind of spirit. Once someone enters there, it is not possible to return from there, although Hasumi had reached the tunnel, the man who was standing in the tunnel took her in the opposite direction again.
