I am born

empty, desolate of light.

For eyes that haven't seen

the darkness means nothing-

except a new place to call home.

Home-the waxing of the Moon

worship fills my soul,

slowly unveiling light's existence-

I want more.

You-the full moon

a throbbing glow of perfection, my eyes know to expect it,

my mouth thirsts for the taste.

As if it's all I've ever known.

The waning of the moon-

You slowly moved out.

Remove yourself piece by piece, throughout the night.

The light doesn't shine the way it used to.

A Darkness Stole Your place.

nights are a bit darker these days.

Dark Side of the moon
