The most Painful part of running a Marathon is just before the Finish Line.
HOLD ON TO YOUR DREAMS!!!!!!! STAND FIRM!!!!! AND HAVE NO FEAR!!!! - Pastor RickyRay Roberston/2014
Before a runner runs a marathon, they first need to make a choice whether or not to run it. The word of GOD uses a race as an example of how we should run the course of our lives; how we should run into our DESTINY that GOD has prepared for us.*** "And LET US RUN with perseverance the RACE marked out for us" [Hebrew 21:1]***
GOD sets the mark, its up to us to answer the call, to make a choice and run in such a way that we do not give up, no matter how bad the course looks before us. When a runner decides to run a marathon, they prepare themselves for it. They do not just wake one day and decide to go run a marathon, it takes preparation. They will run almost everyday, whether it be sun or rain. They push themselves to the limit to obtain that goal. Persistence brings perseverance which intern gives clearance to reach the finish line. If you are not grounded in the Word of GOD, prayer and seeking His face continually; you will fall short persistence, perseverance and clearance. GOD wants to give you to have clarity, strength and determination to run the race. Seeking Him daily and staying close to Him will help you finish the course.
GOD will give you the shoes of grace to run the race, He is cheering you on, helping you to be steady and strong. When a runner has an injury they will nurse that injury to good health and then get back into the race. You will face some injuries through the course of your race, its all a part of growth and creating maturity in character, GOD's character. Its GOD's way of moulding and shaping our lives for His greater purpose. You will face bumps, hills and curves on the road you are running. Its up to you to not give up! Your race may be going on for some years now and you just want to throw in the towel. Don't! You will soon find out that GIVING UP was more painful than HOLDING ON and enduring the race. Just when you think you cannot go on, it is then that you must! It always gets more harder and painful as you get closer to the finish line. Don't look at the circumstances that surround you, keep your eyes centred on the finish line.
Heaven is cheering you on!VICTORY IS YOURS!
KEEP RUNNING!!! YOU'RE A WINNER!!!
"Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one gets the prize? Run in such a way as to get the prize." ~ 2 Corinthians 9:24
