hey everyone!
Today I want to share my first oil pastel portrait with you guys. I never thought I'll ever work with oil pastel but when I saw this pic in
https://tinyurl.com/4cyntc49 ( you should really check it out) I knew I had to recreate it, I try to recreate anything that inspires me 🙂. The original one is digital art and to make it as vibrant and dead as the original I had to use oil pastels.
So this is what I came up with. an alive being with a dead face and death vibes, looking down upon everyone. Those earings also add up to his personality as someone who is closely related to a death god or demons.
I do not have any progress photos because I made it in one sitting. I started it at the midnight at 12 exactly and completed it in 3hrs. It was a nice experience making it in the night in dead silence. I could hear my heartbeat when I was making it with the occasional sound of winds outside.
