Deciding on a date could not have been easier.
We literally decided on the date just eight days after getting engaged!
My mother was visiting for the weekend and she started asking questions regarding our plans - for those of you that think that this ma be intrusive, it's not. It's just the kind of relationship my mother and I have. She is like my best friend.
Anyhow, My fiancé then started dropping dates and we decided of December.
Sweet I know- It'll be hot and sunny and just in time for holidays, so leave will not be a problem!
Being based in South Africa with a sunny christmas sometimes really has it's advantages.
Isn't he just clever - he thought about everything before I could. Needless to say it's been 2 months and the venue, safe the dates and invitations have been sent out! We are on a roll!
The first month was hectic because everyone is super excited and I think if they could make the time pass faster they would.
This is a big deal for all of us because I am the eldest and it's the very first wedding that my side of the family will have (literally feeling the pressure!) And my fiancé is the youngest. So it'll be a big one for both sides of the family.
Because I read an article on what to post and what not to post on our dear media platform that keeps us all connected will unfortunately not be posting the exact date but I have dropped that It will be in December and it will be having in our hometown. Super excited!
