Hello Guys!
I'm back again with my Splinterlands post. I'm going to share my battle experience which might irritate the enemy because indeed this one monster even though it's just silent and not attacking but very shrewd at pleading from the opponent, and the attack that misses will turn around hits the attacker. You must be able to guess this monster, right? Yups, that's Chaos Agent. How annoying Chaos Agent? Lets see His stats below!
Chaos Agent is a Chaos Legion Common monster from Neutral element that has mana 1 and has no damage. At level 2, this monster has speed 2 and active Dogde ability. This is what makes Chaos Agent widely used in both the lower league and the upper league. At level 6 or Gold League Phase the ability will be active, so it not only has the possibility of dodging Melee and Ranged attacks, but also from Magic attacks. At max level this monster has the ability Backfire, so if the enemy monster misses this monster with an attack, the attacker takes 2 damage.
For some people, Chaos Agent is underestimated because it has no damage and only has a small HP. However, if this monster is placed in the right position and rulesets, it will be very helpful in battle, especially for which low battle. If you play in the Bronze league and meet the Bots, you will definitely see that this monster is the favorite Bots, right?
Well, I made this post to follow the Splinterlands Social Media Challenge. I'm neither a proplayer nor a tournament hero. I just enjoys sharing strategy and battles that I find interesting in my own view. This is a battle I did in the Diamond league, and maybe the strategy I used was not suitable for use in the lower leagues because of the differences in the abilities that opened up from each monster.
The rulesets in this battle are Silenced Summoner (Summoners do not give any stats buffs or debuffs or grant/use any abilities) and Equalizer (The initial Health of all Monsters is equal to that of the Monster on either team with the highest base Health) with mana capacity 29 and elements active Death and Dragon.
I think which battle 29 is a medium battle, and according to the rules Equalizer strategy the best is to focus on attacking one target. All slots must be filled by all monsters and there must also be monster support that has the ability Thank Heal. Since there is no Thank Heal Monster from the Death element, so I'll restore using the Dragon summoner, although this summoner will not give any buffs and debuffs to all monsters.
Well, let's take a look at the line-up and strategy of each monster I chose from the table I compiled below:
| Monster | Position | Abilities | Strategy |
|---|---|---|---|
| Summoner | -1 Range, -1 Speed | Because of the Silenced Summoner rulesets, eating this summoner only acts as a carrier for the monsters, so I can use the Death and Dragon monsters. This summoner does not have any influence on all monsters. | |
| First (Tank) | Dodge, Phase, Backfire | Which monster 1 is actually only a complement to the rest of the mana, but this instead becomes the main Tank. Even though it doesn't have an attack, the Chaos Agent whose Backfire ability is already active will return the opponent's attack that has been missed. In addition, Dodge and Phase abilities make this monster difficult to carry or there will be many missed attacks. And because of the Equalizer rulesets, eating the HP of this monster will go up following the highest HP of all the monsters in this battle. This will make it difficult for the enemy to kill this monster before penetrating the main deck behind it. | |
| Second (Tank) | Thorn, Heal, Slow | Although his position is in second place, Cursed Windeku is actually the main Tank in this battle. This monster has Thorn ability will make an attack from the monster Melee back to the attacker. In addition, this monster has a Heal ability that will restore HP in every round it attacks. This ability is certainly very useful as a Tank. Moreover, behind this monster, it is still supported by monsters that have Thank Heal ability. The slow ability of this monster is also active, which will reduce the speed of all opposing monsters. | |
| Third (Support) | Resurrect, Reflection Shield, Thank Heal | The only Dragon monster in this deck that acts as the main support because it has Thak Heal ability which will restore the HP that the monster has in the first position. In addition, this monster also has Resurrect ability and Reflection Shield ability. Resurrect ability will be useful because it will resurrect a monster comrade who dies the first time. Reflection Shield prevents this monster from taking damage from Blast and Reflect Magic. | |
| Fourth (Attacker) | Life Leech, Poison, Dispel | Venary Bonesmith has a Life Leech ability where the HP of this monster will increase if the attack from this monster hits the HP of the target with the same portion. In addition, this monster has Poison ability which when Poison is active, every round of targets affected by poison will lose 2 HP. Dispel abilities are also active, which means that if this monster hits the target, then the positive effect given to the monster will disappear. | |
| Fifth (Attacker) | Life Leech, Redemption | Similar to Venari Bonesmith, this monster also has Life Leech ability. In addition, this monster also has an active Redemption ability, so if this monster dies, it will deal one damage to all enemy monsters. Although this monster is in fifth place, because the monster in the last position has Camouflage ability, this monster will be the target of sneak monsters. | |
| Last (Attacker) | Affliction, Camouflage, Poison, Scavenger, Weaken | I think because of all the abilities he has, Doctor Blight is the main attacker in this formation. Even though it only has 2 magic damage and only 1 speed, all abilities are the main key to winning the medium and high mana battles. If the active affliction hits the target, it will cause it to be unable to heal. If Poison is active, the target will lose 2 HP in each round. Scavenger will make this monster's HP go up if another monster dies. Weaken will reduce 1 HP from all enemy monsters, and Camouflage ability makes this monster can only be attacked if it is in the first position. |
Opponents use summoners of the Death element whose formation consists of Death and Neutral monsters. The opponent uses 2 sneak monsters, namely Silent Sha-vi and Neutral monster, Uraeus. In the first position there is an Ever-Hungry Skull with Flying, Thorn and Return Fire abilities. I think this monster is indeed the most appropriate time to use this monster is during the Equalizer rulesets. In second place, there is a Life Sapper which is the same as mine has Life Leech and Redemption abilities. In third place was Venari Bonesmith. In fourth place is Silent Sha-Vi which is a Sneak monster with Abilities Ripple and Piercing. Just like the monster in the fourth position, the monster in the fifth position is the Sneak monster of the Neutral element, Uraeus who has the ability Poison. The last position is Ranged monster, Soul Strangler max level which is already active Poison ability.
Before receiving buffs and debuffs of all monsters, the HP of all monsters in this battle is 11, equal to the HP of Cursed Windeku which has the highest HP than other monsters. How did this battle happen? Let's jump to Battlefield!

As usual, the battle begins with the peripheral buffs and debuffs of all the monsters. All opponents' HP is -1 because it gets the Weaken debuff from Doctor Blight, and the opponent's Speed -1 because of the Slow debuff from Cursed Windeku. Even so, Silent Sha-Vi is a monster that gets the ability to be the first attacker because it has the highest Speed compared to other monsters.
In the first round, Chaos Agent immediately got poison from Venari Bonesmith. Life Sapper is the same, getting poison because he was hit by Uraeus' attack. As for my monster, only Poison from Doctor Blight managed to hit the Ever-Hungry Skull. In this round, there were 2 miss attacks, namely attacks from the Ever-Hungry Skull and Soul Strangler missed the Chaos Agent.
The second round began with the Ever-Hungry Skull dying from being exposed to poison. Even though they were both exposed to poison, Chaos Agent and Life Sapper still survived. But not long after that, Life Sapper also died for the first time because he was attacked by Silent Sha-Vi. Resurrect from Oshuur Constantia activates and revives Life Sapper. Redemption from Life Sapper makes all opposing monsters receive 1 damage. One miss attack in this round is an attack from the opponent's Life Sapper to the Chaos Agent. In the end, My Life Shapper died again because he was attacked by Uraeus. All opposing monsters get Redemption for the second time. At the end of the second round, there were 5 monsters left from each team.
Round Three starts with the opponent's Life Sapper dying of Poison, all my monsters get 1 damage due to Redemption. The poison from my Venari Bonesmith hit Venari Bonesmith belonged to the opponent, and the opponent's Venari Bonesmith attack to the Chaos Agent missed. At the end of this round, HP Chaos Agent is left 1 and will probably die at the beginning of the fourth round due to Poison.
As I suspected, Chaos Agent and Venari Bonesmith died at the beginning of the fourth round because of Poison. Now Cursed Windeku is in the first position as a Tank. The attack from Silent Sha-Vi to Cursed Windeku turned 2 damage hitting Silent Sha-Vi. Uraeus' attack missed my Venari Bonesmith. Silent Sha-Vi was defeated by Cursed Windeku's attack, but Cursed Windeku got Poison due to an attack from Soul Strangler. At the end of the fourth round, on the opponent's side, there were only 2 monsters left.
The Fifth Round begins with Cursed Windeku losing 2 HP receiving poison. The attack starts from Venari Bonesmith who currently has the highest speed. The poison from Venari Bonesmith hit Uraeus. Uraeus Moaned Cursed Windeku but 2 damage reversed course to him. Finally, Uraeus died after being defeated by Cursed Windeku. At the end of this round, only the Soul Strangler is left which is a Ranged monster, which means that this monster can't attack anymore.
This battle ended at the beginning of round six after Soul Strangler died of poison. I won with 4 monsters left with Doctor Blight who already has 19 HP. You can see the final result of this battle in the picture below.
From this battle I can conclude that:
What do you think Guys? Is this battle interesting? Do you also feel resentful during the attack on the Chaos Agent miss? I hope you like what I share.
