Hello guys!

Yeeeeey I'm back again with my Splinterlands post. I'm writing this post to follow Splinterlands Mage Secrets Battle Challenge Keep Your Distance. This is my second post to join this challenge. I hope you also like what I share. If in the previous post, Void Dragon became the main star, this time Djinn Muirat who was hit by Martyr from the Venari Marksrat will provide entertainment for you.

Well, I'm neither a proplayer nor a tournament hero. I just enjoys sharing strategy and battles that I find interesting in my own view. I played on modern a battles on Diamond leagues using my scholarship account with ign bltzr-wizard-700, and maybe the battle strategies I'd share weren't suitable to apply in other leagues because the differences in ability that open up are different from each league.

Ok guys, without further ado, let's get straight to the heart of this post!

Line Up and Strategy

This is a low mana battle, where melee monsters cannot be used in this battle. In addition, Aimless by giving the Scattershot ability to all monsters makes attacks not only focused on tanks, but spread with targets wherever uncertain. So I'm going to use startegy:

  • As much as possible reduce the damage of the opponent's attack.
  • Consider using a powerful tank.
  • Use the Martyr ability to increase the stats of the main attacker.

You can see the line-up of the two teams from the picture below, and the strategy of each monster will also be explained one by one in the table below.

LINE-UP.png

MonsterPositionAbilitiesStrategy
Thaddius BroodSummoner-1 Mage, -1 HPIn my opinion, Thaddius Brrod is the best Summoner for low mana battles, this is because smmoner alone has provided debuffs to reduce magic attacks and HP, while most likely the line-up for low mana battles are low mana monsters that have small HP, so a reduction of -1 HP will obviously be very meaningful and increase the chance of winning.
RiftwingFirstFlying, Scavenger, Backfire, HeadwindsRiftwing is a non-damage monster that is very strong at its max level, this is because it has a very supportive ability as a tank in low mana battle. This monster has high speed and also Flying ability, so the chance to avoid the opponent's attack is quite large. On the other hand, this monster also has the ability to Fireback, where if the attack for this minster is missed, the attack will turn to the attacker, so there will be a possibility even though this monster is only silent but can kill the opponent's monser Harena Fireback. Furthermore, this monster also has a Scavenger ability where if there are other monsters that die eating this monster's HP will continue to grow. This monster also reduces all attack ranges from enemy monsters because it has the ability of Headwinds.
DjinnMuiratSecondVoid Armor, Knock Out, Giant Killer, Reflect Magic, ForcefieldDjinn Muirat is the main attacker in this battle because he has 3 magic damage. Furthermore, this monster is also a second tank, because it also has the ability to support it as a tank and attacker. This monster has Void Armor, so the opponent's attack will not directly penetrate HP, has Reflect magic, Giant Killer and also Forcefield as defense and also has the ability to Knock Out and Giant Killer as attackers.
Venari MarksratThirdMartyr, SnareBecause of the Close Range rulesets, it doesn't matter if you use Range monsters in the first position, so in addition to utilizing Martyr from Venari Marksrat, you can also be an attacker. The purpose of using martyrs here is so that the stats of the Djinn Muirat which is the attacker in this formation which is right next to the Venari Marksrat will increase.
Life SapperFourthLife Leech, RedemptionLife Sapper has Life Leech ability where if this monster's attack hits the target's HP, this monster's HP will increase. It's like a vampire, isn't it? In addition, this monster also has Redemption where if this monster dies, all opposing monsters will get 1 melee attack.
Weirding WarriorFifthShatter, Amplify, RustWeirding Warrior only has 2 mana but has the abilities Shatter, Amplify and Rust, this is very interesting to be an attacker and support in low mana battles, although there is also a possibility that this monster will die quickly because it only has a small HP and low speed.

I've also included a youtube video of this battle that you can play right away.

Opponents use Summoner Lorna Shine where all monsters have the Define Shield ability. At first I struggled because all my first attacks that hit the target were ignored, but in the end I was still able to win this battle in the ninth round. Interesting performances really happen when the Venari Marksrat dies and the Martyr ability is active so that the stat of Djinn Muriat increases.

STRATEGY DISCUSSION

The strategy I applied worked very effectively in this battle, and this will be a consideration of the strategy that I will use in other battles.
