Hi everyone, how are you? I hope you are all doing well. Today, I am going to talk about Sten Slatehelm, an incredible Legendary Water Unit card from the Splinterlands Conclave Arcana Reward Set. Combining strong defense, offense, and special abilities at a low mana cost, this card has already become a favorite for many. Today, I will discuss this card in detail, so let's get started.

Sten Slatehelm is a Legendary Water Unit belonging to the Dwarf Bloodline. Due to its low Mana Cost, it is extremely effective in Low Mana Battles. Usually, low mana cards do not feature strong stats, but Sten Slatehelm changes that perception. Thanks to its Close Range ability, Sten Slatehelm can perform Ranged Attacks even from the first position. Normally, Ranged units cannot attack from the front position, but Close Range removes that limitation. Additionally, Legendary cards are among the rarest and most powerful cards in Splinterlands.

In terms of battlefield usability, costing only 2 Mana makes Sten Slatehelm extraordinarily effective in Little League or Low Mana Rulesets. At a very low cost, it provides strong defense and consistent attacks. Furthermore, Resurgence is one of the card's most powerful abilities. After being defeated once during battle, it revives with full Health and Armor. As a result, it becomes difficult for the opponent to completely eliminate this unit. Moreover, as long as the unit has Armor, it can deal additional Melee Damage through Armored Strike. The higher the Armor, the more effective the attack becomes. This ability turns Sten Slatehelm into a powerful offensive and defensive unit.

My personal opinion regarding this card is that Sten Slatehelm is currently one of the best Low Mana Legendary Units in the Water Element. Getting powerful abilities like Close Range, Armored Strike, and Resurgence for such a low Mana cost is truly amazing. When used with the right strategy, it can have as much impact as many higher mana units. Especially in Low Mana Battles and Ranged-focused Rulesets, this card can significantly increase your chances of winning.
