After much speculation I have finally decided that the RB for the World XI series will be none other than Bayern Munich's Joshua Kimmich.
The German international has impressed at club and international level. He had a massive job to do filling in Lahm's position after his retirement however stepped up to the plate and is performing better than everyone expected. Some say Kimmich is the future, I disagree. Kimmich's time is now. A well deserved spot in the World XI series.
Honorable mentions:
Even under pressure and critiscism Real Madrid's Daniel Carvajal has held his position in Los Blancos' squad for years whilst fighting off the likes of Danilo.
Kyle Walker was definitely a contender for this position however failed to impress me in his defensive headers and reactions.
