Is it just 'ME', or has anyone else been having a wee bit of a problem understanding half of these people who have been posting on steemit???
Now, I'm not referring to those posts by seemingly non-native English speakers...I'm talking about the Brits, Canadians, Aussie's, Americans and all the rest of you misfits smoking some bad weed or something?
I can understand why those young folks babble a lot, having been victims of the 'Common Core' curriculum imposed upon them through Public Education, and the meat-heads in government who came up with the idea. The poor young ones today struggle to form proper sentence structure, formulate ideas, spel coreckly and generally show cognitive function akin to that of a professional boxer, who was hit in the head too many times.
Maybe I'm missing something...??? Is it that 'abstract' verbal communication is in vogue at the moment??? Is it considered 'hip'; the 'in' thing...??? After all, I'm 'old' and take a lot of naps, so it is quite possible I've been missing out on new trends...I'm also generally antisocial, so I don't go out and mix with many people...So, I might very well be dumb to the dumbing down craze, that I am actually supposed to be proud of participating in???
Hell...I don't know...Maybe it's just 'me'...I'm the dumb one? I've grown eccentric; and sank further into the depths of senility?
Maybe 'all' of the above holds true? We're 'ALL' nuts...
