Saludos, amigos de @holos-lotus. Hace unos días, @emiliorios subió un post sobre [introspección y autoevaluación](https://peakd.com/hive-131951/@emiliorios/conocete-mejor-con-introspeccion-y-autoevaluacion-entrevistamos-a-una-orientadora-lecciones-de-crecimiento-esen). Un excelente material para poner en práctica y que desde que lo leí le daba vueltas a un ejemplo que me ayudara a ilustrar cómo sigo este proceso. El sábado tuve una experiencia que me ha parecido perfecta para explorar ese mundo interior lleno de emociones encontradas y que necesariamente me ha llevado a una introspección y evaluación; hoy les comparto parte de mi proceso. Contextualizando, les comento que el sábado realicé junto a mi maestra de yoga una actividad especial para celebrar el Día del Amor y la Amistad; mi participación estaba centrada en la biodanza. El grupo lo conformaban mujeres y la mayoría pertenecen al grupo de yoga, además de que fueron mi grupo piloto cuando estaba en la primera etapa de formación como profesora de biodanza, es decir, casi todas sabían de qué trata y a qué se les estaba invitando. ![Encuentro amistad 4.jpg](https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/damarysvibra/23y8unwz8xy2wTCk4FmS5LSX9GXLuXUfV3Q1sGq2kkLgXsktqyT8KuDgF9Dbqw71HQpx7.jpg) Planificamos la actividad abriendo con el yoga y luego con una dinámica donde yo haría la transición hacia la biodanza. En la práctica, todo fue muy bien. Gladys, la maestra de yoga, abrió con una alineación energética de los chakras y siguió con una meditación guiada, dejándome al grupo acostado para yo hacer la transición. La verdad es que quedó hermoso; el grupo estuvo muy presente y en conexión con lo que hacíamos. ![Encuentro amistad 3.jpg](https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/damarysvibra/23xL4wcSwp4DyHdXSu15aibr7s3ef73sSezEaBfzbstdNQapJGjWahcbYKEnNpEnufWFJ.jpg) Dando continuidad al encuentro y ya metida en la biodanza, una de las participantes empezó a pedirme que colocara música de salsa, otra quería que hiciésemos el tubo de luz (Trend) y otra quería, más irrespetuosa aún, que colocara la canción de Maduro, que, por cierto, no sé cuál es y la verdad es que ni me interesa. He pasado sábado y domingo rumiando mi malestar y con él buscando explicaciones, si se quiere, innecesarias, porque el problema no han sido ellas; el problema he sido yo, que no he sabido manejarlo como se corresponde y de allí parte mi introspección y autoevaluación, veamos. Lo primero que resalto son mis emociones. Le comentaba a una de mis hermanas que, en tantos años de estudiar y aplicar estrategias de crecimiento personal, no he avanzado mucho, pues me dejé enganchar por el malestar, a la ira y di respuestas a estas personas desde esa emoción, ya que las tres han estado en mis clases de biodanza, por lo que más molesta me sentía. Lo cual me habla de aquel famoso acuerdo de Miguel Ruiz: No te tomes nada personal, y… me lo tomé completico. A esto siguió la frustración, el no haber logrado soltar el malestar y terminar de disfrutar el encuentro, cumpliendo así su máxima finalidad de salir de allí contenta, satisfecha y con gran armonía interior. Con estos dos puntos por los momentos, hago mi evaluación. 1.- No encuentro fallas en la organización ni en el trabajo realizado; repito, estuvo en mi forma de manejar situaciones de conflicto de manera acertada, de allí que creo que me conviene exponerme más para agarrar práctica y colocar límites en el lugar, momento y con las personas que corresponda. Lo que me hace recordar a Aristóteles en una de sus máximas: >"Cualquiera puede ponerse furioso… eso es fácil. Pero estar furioso con la persona correcta, en la intensidad correcta, en el momento correcto, por el motivo correcto, y de la forma correcta… eso no es fácil.” Aristóteles 2.- No somos responsables de lo que diga o haga otra persona; sin embargo, soy responsable de dar aquello que estoy ofreciendo a través de una clase de biodanza, por lo que soy ejemplo para un grupo y esto tiene que ser mi prioridad, dar lo mejor de mí en todo momento. Situaciones como la del sábado no puedo permitírmelas, así que para el próximo encuentro, que ya lo tenemos previsto para el Día de la Mujer, tengo que tomar medidas, tanto personales como grupales; entre ellas, dejar claro a las participantes lo que es la biodanza y qué se busca con ella. Si eso se comprende, bienvenidas serán. Aunque ya de entrada me siento con estas palabras agresiva-pasiva, considero que, por la naturaleza del grupo, es lo que corresponde, pues la idea no puede ser desvirtuar la disciplina por complacer a otros; a fin de cuentas, espacios para bailar distintos tipos de música y ritmos populares hay montones. ![Encuentro amistad. Damarys, no todo fue malo; apóyate en lo bueno que hubo, deja de culparte, buscar explicaciones y aprende. On Saturday, I had an experience that seemed perfect for exploring that inner world full of mixed emotions, which necessarily led me to introspection and evaluation. Today, I'm sharing part of my process with you. To give you some context, on Saturday, I did a special activity with my yoga teacher to celebrate Love and Friendship Day. My participation focused on biodanza. The group was made up of women, most of whom belong to the yoga group. In practice, everything went very well. Gladys, the yoga teacher, opened with an energetic alignment of the chakras and followed with a guided meditation, leaving the group lying down for me to make the transition. I spent Saturday and Sunday ruminating on my discomfort and searching for explanations, unnecessary ones, if you will, because the problem was not them; the problem was me, who did not know how to handle it properly, and that is where my introspection and self-evaluation begin. Let's see. The first thing I highlight is my emotions. I was telling one of my sisters that, in so many years of studying and applying personal growth strategies, I haven't made much progress because I let myself get caught up in the discomfort and the anger, and I responded to these people from that emotion, since all three of them have been in my biodanza classes, which made me feel even more upset. This reminds me of Miguel Ruiz's famous agreement: Don't take anything personally, and... I took it completely personally. This was followed by frustration at not having managed to let go of the discomfort and enjoy the encounter, thus fulfilling its ultimate purpose of leaving there happy, satisfied, and with great inner harmony. With these two points for the moment, I make my assessment. 1. I find no fault in the organization or the work done; I repeat, it was in my way of handling conflict situations correctly, which is why I believe it is in my best interest to expose myself more to gain practice and set boundaries in the right place, at the right time, and with the right people. This reminds me of one of Aristotle's maxims: >Anyone can get angry... that's easy. But to be angry with the right person, to the right degree, at the right time, for the right reason, and in the right way... that is not easy. Aristotle. 2. We are not responsible for what another person says or does; however, I am responsible for giving what I am offering through a biodanza class, so I am an example for a group, and this has to be my priority: to give my best at all times. I cannot allow situations like the one on Saturday to happen, so for the next meeting, which we have already planned for Women's Day, I have to take measures, both personal and group-related; among them, making it clear to the participants what biodanza is and what it seeks to achieve. If that is understood, they will be welcome. Although I feel aggressive-passive with these words from the outset, I believe that, given the nature of the group, it is appropriate, as the idea cannot be to undermine the discipline to please others; after all, there are plenty of places to dance to different types of music and popular rhythms. ![Encuentro amistad.
