I walked the Camino Portuguese with Ben, my husband and a small group that included my sister and her husband in 2014 from Porto in Portugal to St James in Santiago. It was fabulous and hard walking for two weeks every day with one day off. We then walked the Franciscan Way in the Umbria Country in Italy leaving from St Francis Monastery and walked to St Assisi. And our last walking/driving holiday was in Germany in December 2016. So glad @coquicoin we walked when we did before covid hit the world. I really loved walking the long distances in the countryside everyday with a small day pack and walking sticks. I loved the rhythm, the chatting with my walking buddies. We found that you make long lasting friendships where the stories are still shared and laughed at.
