I know it has only been 8 days since post number 2 on the blue merle border collie pup called Onyx, and I am definitely over doing the sharing, but very hard not to report the latest with this cute Onyx. He is now 8 weeks old today, eating very well and already just that little bit bigger.
I know border collies are smart diligent dogs wanting to please, a fact that border collie owners already know, but I amazed that Onyx at 7 weeks arrived at his new home using the grass to pee during the day and night. He goes to the door and alerts his master and mistress with a whimper. His only accident is when his sleepy master did not get up quickly enough when he called during the night.
The most entertaining part to the weekend visit with this little puppy and his owners was watching two boys play with him. A special communication connection was evident straightaway. Is it the fact that the boys and Onyx are both little and young? Watching them all play was simply delightful. So entertaining.
Without a doubt little children and puppies come together like magnets, it is a relationship so unique and distinctive, and I think was captured beautifully in this one little special moment between the 6 year old and Onyx.
They are photos I am saving for my library as the next time I meet up with Onyx the blue merle border collie he will be much bigger. My wish as illogical it is, is to extend the puppy stage for a while so we can all enjoy it for a little bit longer.
Until the next update report on the blue merle border collie puppy.

On a side note, I just want to say that I was particularly thrilled to see the shadows in photos 2 and 3. Shadows appear in a lot of my photos and sometimes with me not even seeing the shadows as I take the shots as in the case of the puppy and the boys playing together.
Want to acknowledge the lovely @melinda010100 and the #shadowhunters community. You all do a fabulous job, thank you.
