The house sleeps and I am not. The birds have not woken me, my mind has, it is quietly contemplating the year that is starting a new decade. What does 2020 bring I think to myself. I feel reflectively sombre as I sip on my hot water.
Personally I see my life continuing as it did in 2019, I keep walking to my surf beach, riding my bike, enjoying my garden, practising yoga and meditation and writing everyday. I promise myself that I never take Ben and my family for granted, loving them with all my being. May I always appreciate and love my friends. For I understand what I give out I get back.
I wish for world peace, safety and security for all people no matter where they live. May we all work together on climate change. May the rain pour on Australia to put out the fires, enough people have lost their homes and their lives.
