Deep in a dream I could hear loud screeching, very loud and getting louder and louder. Confused and in a bit of a fog I could not work out the noise. But then, my eyes opened and my brain clicked in! Of course the corollas! Like all birds they are early morning risers and while we have our lovely bird friendly neighbour feeding these magnificent feathered friends, they are going to keep coming for the sunflower seeds in the early morning light.
Given the extent of the racket Ben and I had to investigate and there they were - an enormous flock of corollas sitting and waiting for their breakfast. I can't blame them, who wouldn't go where breakfast is provided? Birds love it when kind people put out seed.
Once the multitude of corellas ate their seed in only 10 minutes they were all gone, and since I was up I sat with my morning cup of tea in quiet silence breathing in the many different coloured flowers in my garden. Life is sweet when it is always a flower time 
The pretty pink double petal camellia shrub has just started to flower. They pretty flowers to enjoy but unfortunately have no scent.</center
My little yellow marigolds seem to live forever in my baskets and pots. They are hardy and pretty at the same time which makes them a great choice to brighten up gardens.
And I can't finish a post without a photo of my ever flowering pale pink azalea shrub, they are loving the cool winter air.
