When making fried snacks, you have to shape them carefully so they don't fall apart during frying and cook evenly without being under or overdone.
With bake or roast, on the other hand, you simply put the batter/dough in a tray and wait for it to cook while you get other things done.

In rural areas, many people still don't realize that sweet potatoes have a more complex nutritional profile than regular potatoes. That’s why sweet potatoes are so cheap in my hometown. :)
Yes, it is excellent for people with diabetes. Sweet potatoes taste delicious even when simply steamed; they are a favorite of mine and my husband's. Just steamed. If I do add toppings, I put grated cheese or grated coconut on top of the steamed sweet potato.
