A view from a high place always has a stunning appeal, whether it's a view of nature or a view of the city. I like the view of tall buildings.
For me, tall buildings will make the city view more beautiful. Like at sunset, and at night. The beauty will hypnotize us.
So I've always dreamed of staying at a five-star hotel because it offers views from tall buildings, and is in the city center.
This time I will share my first experience staying at a five-star hotel. For my first experience, I chose JW MARRIOTT HOTEL Medan City. It coincided also to celebrate my life which entered the age of 28 years ago a few months ago.
P.S. The video I took for the room tour this time was of lower quality than my usual videos. It was because my iPhone ran out of memory, so I filmed this tour with my second phone. I hope it doesn't bother your eyes, and I hope you enjoy my video.
My friend and I chose to stay in the "DELUXE TWIN" room type on the twenty floors.
When entering the hotel room, the part I look forward to the most is opening the window curtains! I was very excited and very excited because I expected the scenery to be so amazing.
Starting from check-in at 3 PM, until the next morning, the view from our hotel room was absolutely stunning.
I like it the most at dusk and at night. I enjoyed a cup of coffee and didn't sleep on the couch by the window. I am so grateful for that beautiful view! The poems in my head began to grow into a dense tree ready to bear fruit. :)
In addition to the amazing view, the room amenities provided by JW Marriot are quite complete.
Starting from the equipment that helps us in a neat appearance, such as ironing clothes, as well as a simple sewing equipment, to toiletries, for work, and drinking wine. (Because I don't drink wine, so I don't take the wine glass out of its holder). :)
My favorite room amenities, of course, is the bathtub! Oh wait, the equipment for ironing clothes is also my favorite, to tidy up my clothes which I previously carried in my suitcase. That's very useful.
The three facilities of this hotel, are memorable. Unfortunately, I couldn't take pictures there because I left my phone in the room, and was afraid my phone would get wet. Lol.
For the sauna and steam room facilities, only two people are allowed per session, so you must reserve an hour in advance to the staff and all three are free at no additional cost.
For the lowest room type, DELUXE TWIN, I have to pay IDR930,000 / USD66.5. In my opinion, it is worth it with the view as my main goal.
Well, make sure your destination at the hotel matches the facilities offered by the hotel so you don't waste money.
Do you like the view from a height? What is your favorite place to enjoy the heights?
