The day has come and I didn't expected it. My due date to give birth of my baby is today August 18 but I gave birth to my baby last August 10. And here is the whole story.
Last August 9,2022 me and my partner went to town to have my Hepa B laboratory examination.
I felt happy because the laboratory results was negative. As we finished on the examination we went to the clinic to have my ultrasound but sad to say, the heavy rain poured out so me and my partner decided to stay on his boardinghouse. At exactly 1pm in the afternoon, we went to the public hospital to have my early record but as we arrived at the hospital, there are lot of patients which were also pregnant who were waiting for their turn to call. I am number 20 and the guard calls number 5 so we decided to go back to my partners boardinghouse, I felt sleepy so I decided to go to sleep. I slept safe and sound because the rain poured heavily again. At exactly 5pm, my partner told me that we will go home.
As we arrived at our house, I was not feeling better. I felt the pain in my stomach and I just think that maybe I want to poop. At that evening, I went to our comfort room because I urinated every seconds and I go back and forth. I just ignore those things because I thought it was normal. I also vomit and felt uncomfortable. But it was a sign that I am in labor. At exactly 5am at dawn, I felt too much pain and I don't know what will I do. There are waters flowing and coming outside in my private part but it's not urine. I woke up my mother and told her that my stomach is aching and I can't control the pain. She picked some leaves of origano plant or we called it here in our place as "carabo". She wiped it on my stomach and on that time the pain on my stomach never stop. My mother told me that I am in labor. She woke up my partner and told him to prepare all the things to be used and call motorcycle.
We arrived at the hospital at 7:30am and I then went to the delivery room. One of the doctors told me that it is 2cm when she IE on me. I felt the how painful it is being in labor. I pinched my mothers arm and i bite my partners shoulder also, I don't know were the pain comes. When I squeezed or hold the wall it seems like a cotton to me. At exactly 12:30pm in the afternoon, I got my IE again but the doctor told me that its 3cm. I felt worried because a lot of water came out on me.
At exactly 6:30pm in the evening, the doctors decided that I will be in emergency caesarian. I cried and shivered because I don't want to but for the sake of the both of us of my baby, I then sign the agreement. I got my dextrose, then injected some antibiotics to relieved the pain. At exactly 8:45pm I was on the operating room. The doctors bend me like a fried shrimp, my knees and forehead reach together and injected my spinal cord an anesthesia. When the anesthesia sink in half of my body from abdomen through to toes. I never felt the pain anymore, the doctor told me to raised my legs. For me I raised it but when I looked to my legs it never raised. So before the operation starts all the doctors pray for the safe and successful operation. As they start, one of my doctors told me that say anything if I want to vomit, sleep or I can't breath properly. I never sleep neither vomit, all I did is to pray for the safety of my baby and also to me. The operation was already done, I never saw my baby even in a glance. But I heard my baby cries, for that time the emotions of mine and the feelings were I can't explain.
It was an exciting and a surprising part for me and also to my partner, we never knew what is the gender of our little angel and now, I gave a birth with a handsome and healhty baby boy. We named our little angel as "Chronos Exequiel". I prefer to breastfeed my little angel because I know, the best milk for baby is the milk of the mother.
Closing Thought
I admit, it was not so easy being a caesarian. A lot says that you are not called a mother because you never born him/her in normal delivery. Being a caesarian, you cannot lift heavy things. You can not do the things that you used to do. It is hard to move properly because you might think that your wound will open or bleed.
Until here my fellow hivers here, it is my first time to write here. Have a wonderful and fruitful thursday night to all of us.
God bless us always and stay safe.
