Dark games

Ouija (from the French "oui" [si] and from the German "ja" [si]) is a board with alphabet and numbers with which "contact with spirits is established". It looks like the game of the cup, where you put a cup upside down surrounded by the letters of the alphabet and the players place the index finger on the same base. I think we all know that each participant asks a question and waits for the oracle to move to form a word, but according to other more scientific sources the real name of the spirit with which you have contact is "ideomotor effect". This in psychology is known as a phenomenon in which a subject (players) performs movements unconsciously, automatically, triggered by a particular stimulus in the respective area. Like reflexive responses to pain, sometimes the body reacts to ideas without the person consciously deciding to take action. This phenomenon caught the attention of Michael Faraday, William James, Michel Chevreul and psychologist Ray Hyman. These scientists showed that the involuntary muscle movements of the participants caused the piece of wood to move. As we already realize, they are mistakenly attributed to some "paranormal" or "supernatural" force. According to scientists, muscle movement can be initiated by the mind independently of the will or emotions. We may not be aware of it, but the mind may be influenced by others or by observations of the environment around us. These suggestions can influence the mind and affect motor behavior.
