The purification of water is a process of great importance since it allows to supply water ready to be consumed to enormous human groups. In general this process is undertaken by specialized companies that apply a series of processes to water extracted from large rivers or lakes. The treatment of the fluid is carried out until it has conditions of lack of smell, of color and of taste; once these conditions are reached, the water is distributed to be consumed without any contamination problems. There is a great need to reduce costs with regard to this process, a circumstance that can undoubtedly mean the solution to the problems that affect many human beings.
Water supports most of our physiological functions and it is estimated that between 65 and 75% of people do not drink enough water. An even greater percentage is that of those who do not drink water of sufficient quality.
Mild dehydration can significantly affect physical and mental performance, increasing tiredness, fatigue and, consequently, performance throughout the day. Poor hydration, as is common in most people, or poor water quality that is consumed, is often the factor that contributes to many significant health problems.
Chlorine is the main chemical used to disinfect water from the faucet it receives at home. Although its local government is quick to ensure that there is relatively no danger from drinking chlorinated water, this is simply not the case, as levels of chlorine disinfection derivatives (DBPs) are produced by this process, which at the same time is dangerous and alarming.
In reality, there is no safe level for many of the substances found in drinking water, including heavy metals, pesticides, herbicides, hormones and disinfection derivatives. The truth of this question is that it would cost the government trillions of dollars to provide clean water through the pipes of your house.
