I have long been fascinated by the argument of nature vs nurture. What makes us who we are? Is it culture? Do we start off with a blueprint that gives us our base traits and then experiences build on top of those? Are we entirely slaves to the genetic lottery?
A couple of years ago I found myself interested in this thing people were calling the MBTI, so I decided to put some research into it. It was this code that essentially could explain who you are. I started by taking an online test to see which "type" I fit into.
I'm a scientist at heart and in practice, I do forensic toxicology so the idea that most things are theory until proven otherwise and even then are still theory is something that I govern a lot of my curiosity around.
That all being said, MBTI is pretty cool. The four-letter description that came up about me was spot on in every regard. I actually did so much research into the testing methods and the various types that I think I might be able to sway the test to give me whatever answer I desire now. Lol.
So, what are you? Does it fit? Take the test here: 16 Personalities!
Is it you?
