Cara-Belle

IMG_1794 (2).JPG

Everybody loved her
She was every bodies friend
She was such a gentle soul
On that you could depend

Cara-Belle loved eating
She spent her life obese
I put her on a diet
So her legs could get some peace

She was a labrahoover
This name is rather apt
After going through the rubbish
It was plastic that she crapped

Now Cara would eat anything
She’d finish it without fail
One day she ate the rat bait
And lived to tell the tail

Cara had an armchair
It was her favourite seat
Blackcat would just push her off
Her seat was then concrete

Her favourite spot was on your foot
She’d just plonk there and lean
Waiting for attention
Making sure that she was seen

Belle was terribly lazy
When going for the ball
She’d start off at a jog
And finish up at a crawl

You’d never find a nicer dog
Not anywhere I swear
Sweet, loving and friendly
No other could quite compare
