For many now the price drops have wiped out all profit from investing in 2017. For the lucky few that 'got it' below 2500 the positive is still trending but for how long? Historically the trends of each bubble popping drops the price down to around where it first took off from. For the altcoin traders this is a byword that is lived by, providing BTC doesn't fluxuate too much to screw the margins. The long-term indicators are still bullish but the bears seem to be around to stay. This is enough on the surface to create panic selling on exchanges. For speculators that rely on consistent returns in volatility this puts them out of the equation until prices stabalize

Some analysts think we have farther to go before the next bottom is found and great bull run can begin. Short of bottoming out a return to higher ranges is well within possibility.

The uptrend in red in this chart is about to meet the green downtrend. As we currently know this created a drop in price after consolidated horizontal movement in the 6-6.5k range which sustained for several months. Support seems uncertain in the high 3k range and may even dip to 2.8k if trends continue. A sudden rally could occur and the 'quiet before the storm' symptoms are stacking up. Even this last dip is historically present before major bull rallies that take BTC to new highs. This is a raging point to get in from my opinion and if I had 3.8k I would get a whole coin no questions asked. Despite much naysaying in Wallstreet the truth is that they are just as into crypto as we are and use any opportunity to make a buck. I predict that the next true bull run will see an insane uptrend that has unprecedented volume. This will be primarily in the top 12 and some tokens that have non-speculative use, another prediction. Only time will tell which way the wind ultimately blows, bear or bullshit.
