I am waiting for a vacation for a long time!

Because of covid and a lot of work, it has been a very long time, since I did do some vacation.

Especially going to countries, with good weather!

Rome is one of my favorite cities. I love the people, the food and the city. It is a little chaotic, but usually very welcoming. And it is soooo beautiful. All the old and fancy buildings, the uncountable churches, the river and trees.

I did also start to learn a little Italian during my studies. Unfortunately, I had not a lot of time and also not a lot of people to talk to.

Italians have a very relaxed way of life - at least, it always feels this way. They don't seem to be as stressed as many other people. And that is exactly what I want, when I have vacation.

Also the language is very beautiful and straigtforward. Everything is pronounced as written, which makes it so much easier, especially compared to French, which is related, but so much more difficult.

I love the food. I am passionate about cooking, but also about eating. And pasta and pizza are some of my favorites. And Italians do make the best of them. All those different variations. My favorite is probably Pizza Diavoli, which means spicy pizza.

I also enjoy Italian wine the most. I do like other wines as well, but especially white Italian wines are really something, I am enjoy almost every time I drink one.

Classical music, especially operas are also one of my passions and Italian music is really on top of that list. Learning to Vivaldi's "Four Seasons", chilling to Scarlettis sonatas, dreaming while listening to Verdis "Aida".

Have you been to Italy? If so, do you like it as I do?

Since I am far from another vacation and covid is getting worse these days, it's probably just dreaming, but who knows. Maybe there is another vacation and trip to Italy just around the corner.

I did make those pictures myself and therefore own all rights.
