Desde pequeña me gustó soñar con ser una gran artista, solía jugar a ser pintora, cantante o diseñadora; era una niña llena de sueños e ilusiones. Pero los sueños suelen tardar en hacerse realidad y mucho más para una pequeña niña de campo, por eso yo sólo soñaba.
Since I was little I liked to dream of being a great artist, I used to play at being a painter, singer or designer; I was a girl full of dreams and illusions. But dreams usually take time to come true and much longer for a little country girl, that's why I only dreamed.

En la escuela, la vida me brindó algunas pocas oportunidades para lucir mis habilidades de canto y dibujo, y, aunque casi nunca me iba bien, no dejé de insistir en seguir con mis sueños.
In school, life gave me a few opportunities to show off my singing and drawing skills, and although I rarely did well, I kept insisting on pursuing my dreams.

Fracaso tras fracaso, caída tras caída, y comentarios como "lo haces terrible", "ya deja de intentarlo", "lo que haces es pasar vergüenza" nunca me hicieron desistir. Mi respuesta siempre fue: "No lo hago porque sea la mejor, lo hago porque es lo que amo aunque sea la peor."
Failure after failure, fall after fall, and comments like *"you're terrible", "stop trying", "you're embarrassing yourself"* never made me give up. My answer was always: "I don't do it because I'm the best, I do it because it's what I love even if it's the worst."
Después de vaaaarios intentos fallidos en la búsqueda de mi verdadero talento, descubrí en la música y el arte el mejor de los refugios. Comencé a escribir canciones, hacer covers, me dediqué a aprender a tocar la guitarra y me convertí en una cantante aficionada; sin embargo, todavía era invisible para todos los demás. También empecé a dibujar con varias técnicas en las que ahora me he vuelto muy buena, como la acuarela, el pastel y la pluma. No me rendí por nada, seguí soñando.
After seeeeeveral failed attempts in the search for my true talent, I discovered in music and art the best of refuges. I started writing songs, doing covers, I dedicated myself to learning to play the guitar and I became an amateur singer; however, I was still invisible to everyone else. I also started drawing with various techniques which I have now become very good at, such as watercolor, pastel and pen. I didn't give up for anything, I kept dreaming.

Un día, estando ya en la universidad, me decidí por primera vez en mucho tiempo a cantar en público en un pequeño concurso. "Tú puedes, lo vas a hacer por amor a tus sueños" fueron las palabras de ánimo que supe darme.
Gané el concurso, y gracias a esa oportunidad me invitaron a formar parte de la fundación Arte&ópera de Cumaná, dirigida por Daniel Centeno (
One day, when I was already in college, I decided for the first time in a long time to sing in public in a small contest. *"You can, you're going to do it for the love of your dreams"* were the words of encouragement I knew how to give myself.

Actualmente soy una joven de 19 años, estudiante universitaria de informática, enamorada completamente del arte. Pinto cuadros, canto y compongo canciones, escribo poemas, escribo cuentos y también he escrito mi primera novela, mas no la he publicado; me gusta ver la belleza en las cosas simples de la vida y me inspiro de esa belleza. Sigo siendo una simple soñadora con ganas de mostrarle al mundo que los sueños se pueden cumplir.
I am currently a 19-year-old girl, a computer science college student, completely in love with art. I paint pictures, I sing and compose songs, I write poems, I write stories and I have also written my first novel, but I have not published it; I like to see the beauty in the simple things in life and I am inspired by that beauty. I am still a simple dreamer wanting to show the world that dreams can come true.
Ahora no sólo puedo expresar lo que siento de la manera que más amo, también conseguí una nueva familia para compartir con ella y con todos los demás, mi talento, mientras veo como se hacen mis sueños realidad. Y sobre todo, agradezco a Dios porque es gracias a él, que logré llegar hasta aquí, es él quien no dejó morir mis sueños.
Now not only can I express what I feel in the way I love the most, I also got a new family to share with her and with everyone else my talent while I see how my dreams come true.
