Hello friends of this incredible community, a few months ago I finished this wonderful work that I want to show you today, which for me is a great achievement, since it is the first mural that I have done. I did it at my sister-in-law's house, and it is inspired by two quotes from the Bible: Galatians 5. 22-23 and Ephesians 6. 10-20.
Hola amigos de esta increíble comunidad, desde hace algunos meses terminé esta maravillosa obra que quiero mostrarles hoy, que para mí es un gran logro, ya que es el primer mural que realizo. Lo hice en la casa de mi cuñada, y está inspirado en dos citas de la biblia: Gálatas 5. 22-23 y Efesios 6. 10-20.
I wanted to make it like a flowering tree, with the words that come out of those two quotes as if they were the fruits, to symbolize the fruits that the family should bear.
Quise hacerlo como un árbol florecido, con las palabras que salen de esas dos citas como si fueran los frutos, para simbolizar los frutos que debe dar la familia.
To start, I drew in pencil the silhouette of the trunk and the branches of the tree, and then, with the same pencil, I gave it shadows to know where to do them with the paint.
Para comenzar, dibujé a lápiz la silueta del tronco y las ramas del árbol, y luego, con el mismo lápiz, le di sombras para saber dónde hacerlas con la pintura.
I also drew the silhouette of the open bible on the trunk of the tree, where the quotes I mentioned would be written. Unfortunately, it's not very noticeable in the image because I drew it very light.
También dibujé en el tronco del árbol la silueta de la biblia abierta, donde estarían escritas las citas que mencioné. Lamentablemente, no se nota mucho en la imagen porque lo dibujé muy claro.
in pencil, I then drew the words, placing them between the branches. So then I started to paint the trunk with the brown paint.
Después de dibujar el árbol a lápiz, dibujé entonces las palabras, colocándolas entre las ramas. Así entonces comencé a pintar el tronco con la pintura marrón.
After having painted the entire trunk and branches, I proceeded to paint the words with black paint.
Tras haber pintado todo el tronco y las ramas, procedí a pintar las palabras con pintura negra.
With black and white paint I painted the bible, where the quotes would be written, and with brown paint I painted the board.
Con pintura blanca y negra pinté la biblia, donde irían escritas las citas, y con la pintura marrón pinté la tabla.
With the pink paint I brought the tree to life, painting flowers around the words. The more flowers he painted, the more beautiful the tree looked. I also painted loose petals to give the effect of movement, as if the wind were blowing the petals.
Con la pintura rosada le di vida al árbol, pintando flores al rededor de las palabras. Mientras más flores pintaba, más hermoso se veía el árbol. También pinté pétalos sueltos para dar el efecto de movimiento, como si el viento se llevara a los pétalos.
As a final touch, I wrote the quotes in the bible and wrote "My family" on the chart. Of course, my signature could not be missing either, which I painted in pink.
Como toque final, escribí las citas en la biblia y escribí "Mi familia" en la tabla. Por supuesto, tampoco podía faltar mi firma, la cual pinté con color rosado.
And so this beautiful mural was completely finished.
Y así quedó completamente terminado este hermoso mural.
