There is no need for household enemies to use spiritual mirror or an oracle anymore to monitor people's progress. Young parents are the ones exposing their innocent wards on social media. Graduation from kindergarten to nursery, from primary school to secondary, their wards just gained admission to university, their daughter just won best student award... An undergraduate student studying medicine couldn't figure the source of his problem until he was advised to withdraw. He went with his friend to a church where he was called out by the Presiding Pastor who never knew him from Adam but told him that the boy's set back is due to the unnecessary exposure of his life tracks by his parents and that the household enemies are bent on finishing him up.
The idea of unnecessary exposing children progress has no negative implications in the western world as nobody cares, but it has a lot of implications in Africa. Even the Bible says "Do not rely on a friend; don't trust in a close companion. Seal your mouth from the woman who lies in your arms" Micah 7:5.
Can we try as parents to spare these glorious children and stop broadcasting them? We can share anything about ourselves, but we should leave the children out to live their own lives without putting them in unnecessary unexpected battle by these rampant unsolicited announcement
