ABOUT THE WORLD CUP AND THE WAY FORWARD

Though am not a football fan, I was amazed to see the level of patriotism Nigerians exhibited after yesterday's victory, the atmosphere was GREEN and WHITE. If the same passion had been channelled towards Nation Building Nigeria would have been far better than how it is today, even those that have been saying "Nigeria is a dead country" were patriotic all of a sudden and that's what made me happy not even because the super eagles won, even though I knew that they won't be as patriotic as they are now by next week.

#Football is a not a one man's game, it's a team work, yes Ahmed Musa scored the goals, but because he had the support of his team members , the goal was not scored by Musa, but by the super eagles.
#And would you have been as patriotic as you were yesterday if they had lost? The super eagles lost few days ago and everybody was like "they're useless; they went to Russia to display the new Jersey". All of a sudden they're now useful because they won, would you still support them if they loose the next match? Majority will not, but that's when they need your support the most. Those who applaud you when you succeed and discard you when you loose are not really your friends or fans, they're clients.
#Even if the super eagles loose the next match, I pray they don't but if they do, don't loose the # spirit of patriotism you have now, channel it towards Nation Building as well, and celebrate them the same way you celebrated them during their victory.
#God bless you and God bless The United States of Nigeria
